A profound awe for the beauty of the earth and a contemplative journey into the essence of being.

"Your first 10,000 photographs are your worst."

Capturing Timeless Moments

Nearly 60 years of photography and I am still chasing that elusive photo. Regardless of the result, I still get a thrill when I frame an image that pleases me. Pressing the shutter button is a moment of great joy because at that point I know I have framed something that delighted me and preserved it.

Visual Storytelling

There is nothing new under the sun and photographic artists have been shaping their vision forever. I try to retain the integrity of the original subject and any enhancements are only to reflect what I believe I saw and the feelings they engendered.

“There is only you and your camera. The limitations in your photography are in yourself, for what we see is what we are.”
- Ernst Haas

Capturing Timeless Moments

Life is full of resolves like "I must use a tripod" or "I need to slow down and concentrate". The reality is, after 50 years of photography, I still get a buzz when I press the shutter and freeze that moment in time. It is still exhilarating.
